Frequently Asked Questions

  • On the day, I’ll be set up with my iPad and printer in a spot that’s unobtrusive but visible. Guests can come over for a quick reference photo whenever it suits them, and I illustrate live throughout the agreed coverage.

Each illustration is printed and packaged on the day so guests can take it home straight away. After the wedding, you’ll also receive a digital gallery of all completed illustrations.

  • It all depends on the number of guests that you have attending and the package you book.

Packages are based on the number of illustrations completed, rather than guaranteeing one for every guest. A portrait can be of one person, a couple, or a small family group, which often allows more people to be included than you might expect.

The aim is to create a great guest experience, not a queue.

  • That depends on the package you choose:

    • The Wee One - up 25 illustrations
Best suited for weddings with under 60 guests

    • The Middle One - 35 illustrations
Best suited for weddings with around 70–100 guests

    • The Whole Shebang - 50 illustrations
Best suited for weddings with 100+ guests

Portraits can include couples or small groups, which means coverage is often more flexible than it sounds. I’m always happy to help you choose the right option for your guest list.

  • No. I take a quick reference photo and guests can head straight back to enjoying the day.

  • I’ll set up somewhere that’s out of the way but still visible, so guests can see what’s happening without it becoming a distraction.

The only requirement is access to a power outlet. I bring everything else I need.

  • Each guest (or couple/group) receives:

    • a printed illustration

    • packaged and ready to take home on the day

Couples also receive a digital gallery of all completed illustrations after the wedding.

  • Yes - absolutely!

I work with all couples, families and guests, and my approach is LGBTQ+ friendly and neurodivergent-friendly. There’s no expectation to pose, perform, or interact in any particular way. Comfort always comes first.

  • Yes. Travel is included within:

    • 1 hour of Stirling for The Wee One.

    • 2 hours of Stirling for The Middle One and The Whole Shebang

If your venue is further afield, an additional £50 per hour of travel would apply, calculated using Google Maps at the time of booking.

  • For The Whole Shebang package, I design a custom illustrated background ahead of your wedding.

This can include elements like your venue, florals, colours, or overall feel, and is used across all illustrations to tie them together as a cohesive set.

  • Yes - I also take on commissioned illustrations outside of weddings. You can find more details in the shop section of the site.

  • My diary is currently open for 2026 and 2027.
If you have a date in mind, it’s best to get in touch sooner rather than later as I take on a limited number of weddings each month.

  • You can get in touch via the contact page to check availability. Once we’ve confirmed the details, I’ll guide you through the next steps.
